How To Create Own NameServers?

Nowadays so many web hosting companies are there who is ready to give you the best web hosting in affordable pricing, but they used to use single IP address and give you that server IP as nameservers, i.e., ns1.domain.com & ns2.domain.com.

What Is Name Servers?
Every server has unique IP, and this is not possible to remind or remember every server up. So, that your hosting provider will give his server is as a form of Name Servers. Name Servers masks the server IP along with your domain with prefix ns1, ns2, ns3, ns4.

Why do we need to use own name servers?
If you are a businessman, web developer or bloggers every type of business particular competitors who always try to get a chance to bit you. If you are running your website from a reliable web hosting provider and you used name servers of your hosting provider, then your competitor can easily look up your nameservers and can track your web hosting provider. To hide your host domain name servers, you can use your name servers.

Method 01 – Using Child Name Servers.

1. Login To Your Domain Control Panel – Login to your domain control panel which is provided by your domain registrar.

2. Select your domain from which you want to create your name servers.

 

3. Navigate to option called CHILD NAME SERVERS & open it.

4. Put your server IP address along with your prefix and domain.
[ ex – ns1.yourdomain.com & ns2.yourdomain.com ]


5. Click and Save. Congratulations your nameservers have been created.

 

Method 02 – Using A Name Records.

1. Login To Your Domain Control Panel – Login to your domain control panel which is provided by your domain registrar.
2. Select your domain from which you want to create your name servers.
3. Navigate and open DNS MANAGER of your selected domain.
4. Navigate to A Name Record Section > Create A Name Record as shown in Image.
5. Click and Save.
Congratulations your nameservers have been created.
