How to install cPanel on CentOS?

  1. Update your vps.

yum update -y

2. Then after just paste the below command in the SSH. cPanel is itself smart and install all the resources automatically.

cd /home && curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest

[/su_highlight]

[su_note]Most of the CentOS has already activated Network Manage. Disable network manager.

$ systemctl stop NetworkManager.service

$ systemctl disable NetworkManager.service [/su_note]

 

How to setup Cloud Linux on CentOS?

To enhance the server performance and it’s response time CloudLinux is in use, and it is a significant Kernel-Based application. If you are hosting provider especially Shared Hosting provider then you can set a limit within your CloudLinux Manager for particular cPanel user.

Then after you will get an activation key which will be used for the further installation process.

Now, it’s time to install CloudLinux via SSH for that you need to have root access to VPS/server. Login to SSH and verify where you are now or type below command for the installation,

[su_note]cd /root

$ wget https://repo.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux/sources/cln/cldeploy

$ sh cldeploy -k # if you have activation key [/su_note]

 

CloudLinux itself will detect the environment of your vps weather it is cPanel or a plane vps. It will install all the essential packages and update your OS Kernel to CloudLinux Kernel. After completion of installation your vps will automatically get rebooted and now your VPS/server updated to CloudLinux.
